Meet our Trustees

Open Door's trustees are:

 

Simon Rogalski (Chair)- Simon is on the staff team at Jubilee Church Teesside, a local church in the area. Prior to this, he worked in local government for almost 12 years, the majority of this time in a strategic housing role at Stockton Borough Council.

Miriam Maude (Secretary) - Miriam has been a qualified nurse in Teesside for 7 years. She works with a wide variety of people and is experienced in acting as an advocate for those who cannot make their own needs and wishes known.

Robel Teferi - Robel is the founder of a local community organisation (Community Ignite), which is actively working towards integrating refugees around the Teesside area. He works part time as a self employed interpreter and is a Computing Student at Teesside University.

Martin Kempson - Martin has been a Careers Adviser for the last 7 years. He works with the National Careers Service supporting the those looking for employment in the Teesside area. Martin helped set up a community charity in Norfolk before moving to the North East.

Ralph Grobb – Ralph is a chemical engineer with a broad range of technical and management experience gained both in the UK and abroad. Ralph has been involved with community outreaches in many countries, dealing especially with poorest of the poor, underprivileged children and HIV communities in South Africa. Ralph moved to the North East in 2014 and has been very involved in supporting the work of Open Door since then
